Book your evening! Ma Thèse en 180 secondes is a competition enabling doctoral students to present their research topic in French, in simple terms, to a "lay and diverse" audience. Each student has three minutes to present his or her project clearly, concisely and convincingly.
Come along and support the C3M doctoral students:

  • Brice ANGOT (Team 7): "Role of the mechanosensitive ion channel Piezo1 in the regulation of thermogenic functions of brown and beige adipocytes."
  • Axelle STRAZZULLA (Team 8): "CD44 in chronic liver diseases (NAFLD and ALD): from marker to therapeutic target".

In addition to the stage performance, this scientific competition provides all the doctoral students taking part with training and advice on communication and popularisation that will be useful throughout their careers.
At the 2023 Côte d'Azur final, 254 people were in the audience. More than just a competition, "Ma thèse en 180 secondes" is a real human adventure for all the doctoral students who take part.
